Palawan is one of the best islands to visit, hence, considered a paradise, located at the Philippines' westernmost side province. Home to many beautiful breathtaking beaches and not to mention - the rich biodiversity.
Back in 2020, Palawan topped the number 1 spot again for being one of the Top 25 Islands in the World as listed by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

1. It is the only province in the Philippines that has not been visited by any major or strong earthquakes.
2. Palawan is the largest province in the Philippines by land area of 17,030.75 square km, per Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
3. Puerto Princesa City, Palawan's capital city, is the 2nd largest city by land area following Davao City.
4. Having been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Puerto Princesa Underground River - is the home of one of the NEW 7 Wonders of Nature.
5. Palawan is the only island in the Philippines whereas confirmed by PHILVOCS no active faults recorded but possibly prone to tsunamis since the island is surrounded by waters - though there were no records of it yet. Thank God!
It is also noted that back in 2018, it was the year where it has the highest number of visitors - both local and international tourists. There have been some records as well that it is the year where locals have been more active visiting Palawan to see its true and natural beauty.
